I recently finished the Emergent Future Technology (EmFuTech) program, that is 12-weeks intensive and consists of technical seminars, workshops, mentorship and hand’s on experience industry projects in Mirai Innovation Research Institute in Osaka, Japan. The projects were provided by partner-companies and research institutes. We as participants had to analyze a particular challenge, design and propose an innovative solution using technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Augmented Reality, Robotics, Computer Vision, IoT, Big Data, Cyber Security, Nano-technologies and Aerospace technologies.

This are some of my most representative projects!

Projects (Click on any title!)

Brain-controlled robotic exoskeleton for motor training using virtual reality

Developed a BMI-VR-IA-Robotic rehabilitation system that aims to optimize and upgrade the performance of knee rehabilitation exercises.

Develop of carbon-based textile sensors for human-to-human knowledge transfer system using functional electrical stimulation

Developed a carbon-based connectors with EMG sensors to approach of human-to-human knowledge transfer using a system based on functional electrical stimulation (FES).

Mapping of whale shark sightings in continental waters between Isla Mujeres and Isla Contoy

We created a web platform whose main characteristic is the mapping of whale shark sightings and marine fauna that has the functions of data storage, data entry, login verification, representing an analysis of data in dashboards as well as the development of models for the prediction in order to observe in which places it is more common to find them and draw the most optimal routes for the company.

Mammographic Image Analysis and Classification Web-app

We created an application where the detailed information of each mammogram is shown as output, as well as the cleaning of the mammograms and a classifier.

Classification of handwritten digits

The MNIST dataset consists of a set of handwritten digit images. It was originally created by the National Institute of Standards and Technology as a test base for character recognition algorithms. In this Jupyter Notebook we will explore the application of neural networks in the solution of Classification problems.
